What is Nigeria like?

My mom is building a house there (she lives here in illinois) but we're nigerian. she said we're (me and my siblings and her and my stepdad) are moving there when the house is done. it should be done in like a year. im currently going into my junior year in highschool in the u.s. but what is nigeria like? how are the people? are the teachers strict? how long is the school day? thanks.
