Soccer score shows the score then more numbers in parenthesis what do they mean?

usually they don't put thoose numbers in and its kinda stupid that they did. Its just half time scores. Which doesn't matter at all. what ever tv station your watching it on tell them to knock it off. unless its aggregate scores over two legs.
