Should i call them back?

I'm fighting a burglary case right now and a cop came by my house yesterday while I wasn't home. He left his card and told my roommate to let me know he came by and for me to call him because he wanted to talk to me. My question is: should I call him back or not. Or only if I have a lawyer or what? I'm not trying to incriminate myself like a dumb ***. *also, no answers from any law enforcment please. You will just tell me to call him back of course*
